Her boutique is run out of the intimate setting of her home in Irvington, New York with shopping available by appointment. Leeann sells women’s wear and accessories catering to a range of price points with her hand selected pieces.
Leeann’s fashion background spans many facets of the business such as working as a buyer, a merchandiser, and stylist. She organically transitioned into working on a more local level when she moved to the Rivertowns and began to fulfill the need for boutique personal shopping. Leeann was used to her friends always coming over to her home, playing in her closet, trying things on and borrowing her clothes. This fun and familiar setting is the shopping experience Love, Leeann’s business is modeled after. Her website expresses it best with the quote, “it’s like shopping in your girlfriend’s closet.”
Whether you’re looking for pieces for a specific occasion, or just need to freshen up your wardrobe, when you shop with Leeann you will learn how to style your purchases with examples of what to pair with it or what types of accessories would compliment. She also keeps the selections fresh and in season, “You’re never going to see the same thing every time you come in” Leeann says. I asked Leeann about her how she came to live in the Rivertowns, “We liked the idea of the Rivertowns, my husband needed to be close to the city because of work, I liked the diverse community….” She describes the area as quaint and “very laid back…less city more suburbs.”
Leeann does a lot in the local community. She enjoys the scenic Old Croton Aqueduct trail, going out to the local restaurants, especially Irvington eateries The Red Hat on The River in the summer and Mima Vinoteca for a fun Friday night dinner. She also takes advantage of the fitness options in Dobbs Ferry at Pilates & More and Hero Gym.
She is also proud to be involved in charities such as The Center for Discovery, Abbott House and various women’s shelters. One method Leeann gives back is with an organized shopping events. For example, if a client would like to host a girl’s night of shopping, Leeann will donate a percentage of the proceeds to a charity of her client’s choice.
