Professional Association: Bernice was born and bred in New York City. Her husband was an internationally known architect from whom she learned the basics of design and construction which have proved an invaluable asset during her outstanding 26 year career as a Realtor. Until her 2012 merger with William Raveis Legends Realty Group, Bernice was the Broker/Owner of Hudson Shores Realtors, a successful, high-end boutique for 18 years. She determined that this venture would dramatically benefit her buyers and sellers, giving them the best of both worlds, a well-established boutique coupled with a remarkably advanced technology and marketing system offered by an affiliation with William Raveis. Prior to real estate Bernice was a representative to UNICEF and a recipient of the 1998 Ellis Island Medal of Honor for her work in Asia, her impact on the adoption of foreign children in the United States and for her advocacy for single parent and gay household adoption equality. Her early education was in theater following her family's involvement in silent films and she then went on to study photography and art at the NY Institute of Photography and the Art Students League. She has had several exhibits of her photographs and did a notable series on S. Korea and India for NBC News. She is the author of "Take My Children-A Love Story" about her work with the children of parents suffering from leprosy in South Korea Her life experiences have had a profound effect on her understanding, willingness and ability to be of substantive help to her clients and customers.
